(Patria) - Israeli forces bombed a school in Gaza City on Friday, which houses shelters for displaced persons, the Palestinian state television announced.
More than 20 people were killed and 100 injured in the bombing of the Al-Falah school, which houses displaced persons in the southern part of Gaza City, according to the channel affiliated with the Palestinian Authority, based in Ramallah in the West Bank.
The Israeli side has not yet commented on this attack.
Israel launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip following the cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7. Since then, at least 11,500 Palestinians have been killed, including around 7,900 women and children, while more than 29,800 have been injured.
Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques, and churches, have been damaged or destroyed in the Israeli offensive.
Israeli authorities revised the number of Israelis killed since October 7 to around 1,200.
