Israeli Ambassador to BiH Komšić: You are not even close to a human being!?

The Ambassador of Israel to BiH, Galit Peleg, asked the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić, on Thursday "which side he is on" when commenting on the conflicts in the Middle East, and told him that the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers, Borjana Krišto, spoke about the crimes in Israel "as a human being", "while the other side is not close to a human being".

"I have no intention of getting into the complicated relations in BiH. We all know why. You have a complicated situation, and I respect everything that is happening in your politics.

It is not my place to interfere in that, but what Chairman Komšić told Chairwoman Krišto, that she sided with Israel... but what hurt me more was that he said that everything must be viewed in context.

Looking at such terrible events, this cruelty... I will only give an example of footage from a tourist who filmed children aged three. They put them in cages like chickens, and you see these children crying and trying to get out of these cages, and the terrorists are laughing at it.

We didn't even see that in the Holocaust.

I cannot understand why. I can imagine they want to kill soldiers, that you fight them, but no, they came to kill and torture Israeli toddlers aged two to three years old.

Or one of the hostages, a baby only six months old. She was also taken hostage.

Is that your enemy? When I see all these things. Your chairman talks about circumstances... I ask him, what circumstances is he talking about? Comparing with what, with ISIS, with the Holocaust, with what is he comparing? This is not humane, that's what I want to say. This is something that a human being cannot accept.

So I said that Chairwoman Krišto says she sympathizes with the victims and in that regard speaks about Israeli victims, and she says it as a human being.

While the other side is not close to a human being. I ask him, which side is he on!? I heard that he answered me that I am a fool and that I am manipulated, so - thank him for those compliments.

I know I am not a fool, and everyone knows it, and I am not manipulated. I don't want to get into internal politics, but what is true - I am saying.

Look at this footage and tell me, if you have to consider something before condemning these atrocities. You can only be a human being, and that's all," said the Israeli ambassador in an interview for RTRS.

We remind you that the member of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić, responded to the Israeli Ambassador Galit Peleg after she made false claims about Komšić and his statement on the position of the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Borjana Krišto, yesterday.

"Dear Ambassador, what you have said regarding my statement about Borjana Krišto's position and everything that is happening these days in Israel and Gaza, I can only say that such a thing that you have said is not only untrue (look and listen to my statement), but only a malicious lying fool or a manipulated, also malicious fool can say something like that!

Given that I believe you fall into the latter category, the message to you is as follows - that pervert who persuaded you to this lie and stupidity, because you clearly did not even look at or listen to my statement, and for whom money is more important than the fact that he earns it with followers of the policy and ideology that participated in the Holocaust against your people, is your country's problem," Komšić stated.
