(Patria) - International activists who were part of the Global Sumud Flotilla arrived in Istanbul after being detained by Israel.
The plane carrying activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla, which Israel held in international waters, departed on Saturday from Ramon Airport in the city of Eilat towards Istanbul.
A Turkish Airlines plane landed in Istanbul at 3:40 p.m. local time (2:40 p.m. Central European Time).
According to information published by Anadolu, after completing the necessary formalities, the activists boarded the plane that landed at Ramon Airport in the morning, and then departed for Istanbul.
The plane carries 137 members of the Global Sumud Flotilla, including 36 Turkish citizens.
The flight also includes citizens from 12 other countries, including the USA, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Morocco, Italy, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Mauritania, Switzerland, Tunisia, and Jordan, Turkish diplomatic sources reported.
