Israel again struck targets in Tehran, dozens killed and wounded

(Patria) - Iranian media Irib News reported that 25 children and their parents were killed in an Israeli attack on a residential building in Shahid Chamran.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed the killing of seven senior commanders of its Aerospace Force, including their commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh, in an Israeli attack on Friday morning.

"We mourn the death of seven of our commanders, including Brigadier General Amir Hajizadeh," the elite force said in a statement.

Sayyid Majid Mousavi was appointed on Saturday as the new chief of the IRGC Air Force.

According to media reports, explosions are echoing across Tehran. The defense system has been activated. The exact location of the strikes has not yet been announced.
