Israel has in principle accepted four Palestinian demands

A Middle Eastern news agency has reported that its diplomatic sources have revealed that Israel has in principle accepted four Palestinian demands, reports the Patria news agency.

Sources claim that Israel has agreed to stop the aggression on Gaza and lift the siege, and to release Palestinian prisoners who were re-detained during the aggression. Israel has also accepted the demand regarding the right to fish at a distance of 12 nautical miles.

According to sources of this agency, Israel rejected demands related to opening an air and sea port, and opening a security passage between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Otherwise, the Palestinian delegation presented a series of demands for reaching an agreed ceasefire, which include an immediate ceasefire and withdrawal of occupation forces, ending the blockade and opening all crossings, respecting the Shalit Convention and releasing Palestinian prisoners, abolishing the security buffer zone, allowing a fishing area at a depth of 12 nautical miles, rebuilding the Gaza Strip and providing emergency aid through the Palestinian government, holding an international donor conference for the reconstruction of Gaza in cooperation with the Palestinian government, releasing the fourth group of Palestinian prisoners captured before (the Oslo Accords), and stopping attacks by settlers and arrests carried out after June 12.
