Israel strikes Lebanon: Child killed in airstrikes

(Patria) - The Lebanese state news agency announced that four people were killed and 39 injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Jnah area south of Beirut.

Earlier it was reported that one child was among the seven killed in an Israeli airstrike on Kfar Hattu in southern Lebanon.

Israel has been attacking the densely populated southern suburbs of Beirut in recent weeks. They are also targeting civilian infrastructure.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, more than 1,360 people have been killed since the beginning of the new Israeli offensive, including at least 125 children, while more than 4,000 people have been injured and more than a million people displaced.

Israel began its attacks after Hezbollah started shelling northern Israel, which followed joint US-Israeli attacks in which Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei was killed. The attack on Iran began on February 28, and no ceasefire agreement has been reached to date.
