(Patria) - At least six people, including children, were killed in an Israeli drone attack on the Adloun highway in the Nabi Sari area in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese National News Agency reports.
NNA states that the victims died while trying to flee to safety at dawn. The attack took place on a key coastal section of the main highway connecting the cities of Sidon and Tyre.
The Israeli army issued new forced displacement orders concerning the Zaqqoq al-Mufdi area in the Tyre district, as well as all residents of the city of Tyre.
The attacks come after the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 31 people were killed and 40 injured in Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday.
It was one of the deadliest days since a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah came into effect last month.
