REACTIONS MISSING How we arrived at the alarming OHR report, everything precisely described back in 2012!

The special war in Bosnia and Herzegovina waged by forces aiming for the final partition of this country has been ongoing for years. Mild reactions from the Office of the High Representative and poor policy in the work so far have greatly contributed to the latest report, which has completely exposed the catastrophic state within BiH, caused by external actions, which, supported by 'internal' players, are destroying BiH!

Anyone who doubts this should first read the 2012 study by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung titled "Bosnia and Herzegovina 2025: Scenarios for Future Developments".

Although the authors presented the publication 'naively' as a template for an intellectual exercise, today, four years before 2025, we see that certain parties have applied the exercise in practice.

At that time, the only one to react was the vice-president of the SDP, Denis Bećirović, who is also a delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament, and he clearly stated that there would be no peaceful separations, clean ethnic lines, Czechoslovak champagne, or humanitarian relocations.

“One must respect the right to one's own opinion, but offering the BiH public such theses and scenarios is condemnable. Because, to anyone who had the good fortune to survive or understand what happened on the soil of BiH between 1992 and 1995, it should be clear that any dissolution, or rather, unconstitutional secession, means new, great, and unforeseeable suffering. And for that reason, and for everything that has happened in its history so far, a whole, democratic, and European BiH simply has no alternative,” he said at the time.

The reason for Bećirović's reaction was a scandalous statement in this publication, where it was listed as the fifth option that BiH would cease to exist as a state by 2025.

The publication stated:

“The smoldering ethnic conflict, which has lasted for decades, culminated in the dissolution of BiH into three separate states under the auspices of the international community to prevent violent conflict. These new countries are now focused on internal structural changes on their path to European integration...”.

Interestingly, no BiH official other than Bećirović reacted to the text of this publication.

Has our perpetual defensiveness cost us the situation we are in now?

In their predictions of possible scenarios, back in 2012, the authors stated what we are living today.

“Neither the EU nor the rest of the international community has a clear strategy for preserving a unified BiH and adopts an inconsistent and often counterproductive approach to regulating events,” they state in this publication.

Interestingly, they predicted a 'peaceful separation' and Dayton 2 at that time, where the leaders of the three constituent peoples would sign such a scenario!

The frustration of Bosniaks and violent reactions to such an act are also mentioned!

From this, much can be learned: the lack of timely reactions leads to the realization of plans implemented by forces waging a special war.

Therefore, the absence of political ideas and concrete moves by pro-Bosnian forces is currently more dangerous than the 'enemies' themselves. We don't have to look far, just back to 2012, to understand what it means to passively observe events, even if they are presented as an intellectual exercise.

Politics as the art of the impossible in BiH has created a series of subjective observers of dangerous objective actions that are dragging BiH down!
