Traffic Regime Changes During Sarajevo Film Festival 2021

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton has approved the Association of Citizens and Artists „Obala Art Centar“ Sarajevo for a temporary change in the traffic regime in the streets of Branilaca Sarajeva, Zelenih beretki, Ćemaluša and Kulovića, and Ćumurija, for the event „Sarajevo Film Festival 2021”, from August 13 to 22 this year.

The temporary traffic regime change includes a complete traffic closure from August 13, 2021, from 22:00 to August 14 this year until 02:00, except for visibly marked and/or announced vehicles of the organizer and vehicles from Articles 125 and 126 of the Law on Road Traffic Safety in BiH, in the following streets:

- Zelenih beretki and Branilaca Sarajeva - on the section from the intersection with Obala Kulina bana street to the intersection with Kulovića street, for the realization of the official reception of guests on the occasion of the opening of the „Sarajevo Film Festival 2021” event.

In the period from August 15 to 22, 2021, from 17:00 to 01:00, and on August 22, 2021, from 00:00 to 02:00, a complete traffic closure for all motor vehicles, except for visibly marked and/or announced vehicles of the organizer and vehicles from Articles 125 and 126 of the Law on Road Traffic Safety in BiH, in the following streets:

1. Zelenih beretki - on the section from the intersection with Vladislava Skarića street to the intersection with Gimnazijska street,
2. Branilaca Sarajeva - on the section from the intersection with Gimnazijska street to the intersection with Kulovića street,
3. Ćemaluša - on the section from the intersection with Mula Mustafe Bašeskija street to the intersection with Branilaca Sarajeva street,
4. Radićeva - on the section from the intersection with Obala Kulina Bana street to the intersection with Branilaca Sarajeva street.

Traffic flow regulation in the area of complete traffic closure and at intersections where traffic is directed to alternative routes will be carried out by members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

The temporary traffic regime change will be implemented as follows:
- Traffic flow regulation in the area of complete traffic closure and at intersections where traffic is directed to alternative routes will be carried out by members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton;
- Parking is prohibited in Branilaca Sarajeva street for the duration of the approved traffic regime change along the entire length of the road;
- During the traffic regime change, parking is prohibited in Zelenih beretki street along the entire length of the road;
- Parked vehicles in the areas of temporary traffic regime change will be removed by intervention of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or by engaging the competent towing services of KJKP ,,Park“ d.o.o.;
- Alternative routes for movement in the area of complete traffic closure are roads that intersect with the routes of the participants;
- Periodic allowing of previously parked vehicles to exit towards alternative routes will be carried out from all parking areas whose connections are adjacent to the streets where the changed traffic regime is in effect;
- The taxi stand in Branilaca Sarajeva street, in the immediate vicinity of the „National Theatre“ Sarajevo, will be relocated to the bus stop opposite Šenoina street during the traffic regime change;
- To ensure functional and safe traffic flow, during the approved period, it is necessary to temporarily relocate the “Dom Armije” terminal, as well as to ensure the presence of the competent service of all public urban passenger transport operators, who will implement changes in the public urban transport routes in accordance with the instructions in the Decision of the Ministry of Transport of KS;
- The taxi stand in Zelenih beretki street will be moved to the nearest adjacent taxi stand not affected by the temporary traffic regime change.
With a subsequently issued supplementary decision, the Ministry of Transport has approved a traffic closure from August 14 from 22:00 to August 15 this year until 02:00 for all motor vehicles, except for visibly marked and/or announced vehicles of the organizer and vehicles from Articles 125 and 126 of the Law on Road Traffic Safety in BiH, in Ćumurija street, specifically on its section from the intersection with Obala Kulina bana street to the intersection with Branilaca Sarajeva street.

During the same period of traffic regime change, parking of vehicles in Despićeva street is also prohibited.
