In cooperation with the ERSTE Foundation from Austria and the Bosniak Cultural Community "Preporod", the Austrian Embassy in BiH is organizing the exhibition "SREBRENICA TODAY" which will be opened on Sunday, June 5, at 7 PM, at the premises of the Bosniak Cultural Community "Preporod" in Brčko. The exhibition will be opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to BiH, Martin Pammer, it was announced from the ERSTE Foundation, reports the Patria News Agency.
The exhibition "SREBRENICA TODAY" is part of the official program of the Austria-Bosnia and Herzegovina Culture Year 2016, planned to contribute to the culture of dialogue in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a form of support for reconciliation with the past, living in the present, and creating the future. As such, it is planned for the exhibition to visit cities across the country: Prijedor, Tuzla, Bihać, Banja Luka, Trebinje, Brčko, Bijeljina, Foča, and Zenica.
The exhibition will be available for viewing at "Preporod" from June 5 to 10.
The exhibition "SREBRENICA TODAY" was initiated by the ERSTE Foundation on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica and the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement. It was originally opened on July 11, 2015, at the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center, as part of the official anniversary commemoration ceremony.
