The exhibition of photographs "Scenes from Kuwait", by successful Kuwaiti photographer Sarah Hasan Alsayegh, will be displayed tonight on the outer wall of the Yellow Bastion in Sarajevo, as part of the 2nd Sarajevo Ramadan Festival, reports the Patria News Agency.
Sarah Hasan Alsayegh is a Kuwaiti photographer who specializes in photographing natural and urban landscapes. Sarah inherited her love for photography from her father. She first started photography as a hobby in 2005, and has since evolved into a successful professional photographer and winner of the Kuwait Photography Competition, which was held for the first time in 2015.
The Sarajevo Ramadan Festival, a project aimed at presenting Islamic culture and art, as well as beautiful Ramadan customs, was created by the Baščaršija Business Improvement Zone (ZUP) and the Sarajevo Navigator Foundation with the aim of complementing Sarajevo's tourist offer.
The programs within the Sarajevo Ramadan Festival are part of the project "PHOENIX – Culture for the Future", financed by the EU and implemented by the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, ZUP Baščaršija, and the Sarajevo Navigator Foundation.
The project "PHOENIX – Culture for the Future" lasts 18 months and is part of the "Sarajevo 2014" program financed by the EU as part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the start of World War I, with the aim of sending a message of peace, reconciliation, and solidarity from Sarajevo to the world, announced the Festival's PR service.
