Exhibition of war photographs from May-July 1992.

As part of the observance of May 2nd, Municipality of Centar Day, the Organizational Committee has prepared a rich ceremonial and cultural-entertainment program for the citizens of Sarajevo, which will be realized from May 2nd to 9th this year, reports the Patria News Agency.

Today, an exhibition of war photographs was opened at the "Preporod" gallery in Sarajevo. All exhibited photographs were taken during the period of May - July 1992, depicting members of the police, special units, and other military formations that participated in the defense of Sarajevo.

Most of the black and white photographs were taken by Milomir Kovačević Strašni. In addition to interested citizens and fellow soldiers, Mustafa Resić, advisor to the municipal mayor Dževad Bećirević, attended the opening of the exhibition on behalf of the mayor.

Dževad Topić, a wartime commander and one of the organizers of the armed resistance, spoke about the events of May 1992, it was announced from the Municipality of Centar.
