The Museum of the City of Zenica today hosted the official opening of an exhibition by Zenica photographer Murat Jašarević. The exhibition is retrospective and marks 40 years of artistic work, reports a reporter from the Patria News Agency.
- Murat Jašarević is one of the few photographers who, in his own specific way, whether it be the motif or the technique, has captured the time in which he lived, the landscapes of Bosnia, and portraits of ordinary people. As he started photography at a very young age, he remained, even as a professional photographer, one of the few who survived in the world of artistic photography - stated Ozren Božanović, president of the Photo Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Murat has had 13 solo exhibitions to date and has participated in 198 group exhibitions. He exhibited 494 of his works, which have been shown all over the world. The most significant award is the Marshal Tito Cup, which he won twice. Murat Jašarević has held the highest artistic title of Master Photographer of the Photo Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUF) since 1995.
