A large number of Visoko residents visited, on Thursday evening, the exhibition by photographer Milomir Kovačević Strašni, which will be open at the Franciscan High School until January 2015, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
Kovačević presented himself to the Visoko public with photographs taken during the demonstrations in Sarajevo in 1992, when tens of thousands of Sarajevans and citizens from other cities in the country opposed the Serbian aggression against BiH, which would claim hundreds of thousands of lives over the next four years.
With his lens, Kovačević captured the worried faces of people who tried to stop the aggression against BiH with peaceful demonstrations, which unfortunately they did not succeed in doing. The photographer hopes that his work will contribute to the spread and living of the idea that citizens did not want bloody conflicts on the soil of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Visitors to the exhibition in the coming days will be able to see 48 extraordinary photographs by Milomir Kovačević Strašni, writes NAP
