(Patria) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegović addressed the public today after, as he said, three-quarters of the current government's mandate.
He reminded that the government was imposed by amendments to the BiH Constitution and the intervention of the international community.
He said that the "Trojka's" catastrophic assessment was that Dodik had changed, as well as that the SNSD-HDZ alliance would soften by making concessions to them.
“You don't do that in politics, it's a sign of weakness and only whets the appetite of the other side. They promised that 'new negotiators' would come, who would know better, and we got a blockade and stagnation. They said they would withdraw if it turned out they had assessed incorrectly, they won't withdraw, they want power. There was a promise of meritocracy, then we were surprised by whom they appointed, poor personnel are one of the "Trojka's" main mistakes. They promised progress on the EU path, then the bar was lowered for them like a bad student. They promised to fight corruption, then we saw connections with drug cartels, then we witnessed the 'spengavanje' affair, about how Autoceste FBiH were ceded,” said Izetbegović.
He reminded that the directors of FUP and the Airport are under restrictive measures and that there is an international investigation into Autoceste, and that three ministers in the KS Government were arrested.
“An investigation is underway against the hero of the month, prosecutor Pašić, for hiding compromising materials, prosecutor Čampara has been removed. He owns an apartment in Istanbul, his wife owns four accounts in Istanbul. They promised to remove SNSD with a bulldozer, they did nothing. The result of three years in office is humiliation, general stagnation and blockades, impoverishment, state indebtedness, depression. Dodik negotiated something to save himself, his family, his businesses, companies, he withdrew numerous laws in the NSRs, temporarily gave up attacking BiH. But he has already dared to compare the price of gas coming from Russia and the price of gas that should come via the Southern Interconnection from the Americans. He is already showing ingratitude to the American side. I have constantly warned that BiH will not get better until Dodik leaves politics, he must not remain the head of SNSD and will continue to do what he is doing,” said Izetbegović.
He added that the BiH Court's verdict must be implemented in the Dodik case.
“SDA will not be part of a plan to save him. We will not give up. He is the main problem of this country,” he added.
He announced that SDA will initiate amendments to the Election Law in terms of introducing new technologies in elections to prevent election theft. He announced an initiative for proportional representation at all levels.
“The Council of Ministers is not trying to solve this matter. We want fair and honest elections finally. We want proportionality to be applied. We have those laws, but they are not being applied. We are witnessing apartheid in RS, or in parts of FBiH where Herceg-Bosna once ruled, like Stolac, where people had their houses demolished, were imprisoned in camps, and then were multiplied by zero,” said Izetbegović.
Izetbegović congratulated Zijad Krnjić on his firm stance and insistence on the application of the law.
“To stop the theft of Federation funds by RS, which has been ongoing since Špirić through Viaduct, which was paid for with FBiH funds. That man should be listened to better. Nikšić called him a so-called expert. Nikšić is an imposed, forcibly brought, unsuccessful prime minister, and he calls a man who does his job a so-called one,” stated Izetbegović.
The head of the SDA Club in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, Šerif Špago, announced amendments to the BiH Election Law to ensure the application of new election technologies, as well as that the Central Election Commission can independently adopt the Rulebook on the systematization of job positions, and not depend on the will of the BiH Council of Ministers.
Muamer Zukić, head of the Bosniak Club in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, said that they have sent a Draft Law on proportional representation of constituent peoples and others for procedure.
“The law specifies the constitutional principle of proportional representation throughout the FBiH and in terms of appointments and employment. The non-application of this principle has led to us having quite ethnically homogeneous structures in institutions, and this law aims to reduce that by applying the 2013 Census with a deviation of up to 10 percent,” said Zukić.
