Izetbegović called on the KS Government to resign after the Budget is adopted

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegović announced a reconstruction of the KS Government after the adoption of the Budget for 2020 at the Assembly session to be held on December 26. He told Hayat TV that the process could take a month and a half.

"I think it would be better for them to leave immediately and for us to finish this matter as soon as possible," said Izetbegović.

Izetbegović claims that after the agreed coalition with SBB and DF, they have 18 or 19 votes in the KS Assembly. The SDA President emphasized that the current Government had the support of foreigners, but that was in the past.

"That is in the past, so I have agreed with those people from the international community that the process should go ahead. Because, after all, SDA and some of those powers, we from the inside, and they from the outside, have kept BiH going during the war and after the war, in reform agendas," stated Izetbegović.

The current government in KS consists of Narod i pravda, Naša stranka, SDP BiH, NBL, SBB, and DF. After the agreement with SDA on a coalition at the state, federal, and cantonal levels where possible, SBB and DF are leaving the "six-party coalition", making the future parliamentary majority questionable.
