Izetbegović on Zukić's Arrest: We Hope He Will Be Able to Prove His Innocence

We expect the Prosecutor's Office and the Court to handle matters professionally, quickly and impartially in accordance with the law. The SDA reminds of the principle that no one is guilty until proven otherwise. We hope he will be able to prove his innocence - said the President of the SDA and member of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegović, commenting on the arrest of the party secretary Amir Zukić.

A session of the SDA Collegium was held in Sarajevo this evening, discussing the revision of the BiH lawsuit against Serbia, the political crisis in the country, and Zukić's arrest.

Zukić is suspected of illegal employment, i.e., organizing a group whose goal was the illegal employment of individuals and party cadres in public enterprises. In the same operation on Friday, Zukić's driver Seid Fazlagić was also arrested, NAP reports.
