Izetbegović: Referendum on NATO possible

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegović told reporters today that it is possible for the Council of Ministers of BiH to be formed in the next seven or eight days, as stated by Dragan Čović, the president of HDZ BiH.

Izetbegović also emphasized that a compromise must be found regarding the NATO path. When asked what that compromise entails, he said it means sending regular annual reports.

"A compromise must be found regarding BiH's NATO path. The Serb side must be satisfied by not making any decisions regarding NATO without a new decision from the Presidency or a referendum in BiH," Izetbegović said.

He also stated that the leaders of SDA and HDZ met and brought their positions closer regarding the appointment of the Director of the Federal Police Administration.
