Izetbegović and Radončić Discuss Mostar, Joint Election Campaign and Economy

Today, a meeting between the presidents of SDA and SBB, Bakir Izetbegović and Fahrudin Radončić, was held in the building of the Presidency of BiH. For more than an hour, they discussed the relations between these two parties, about Mostar, a joint campaign in the local elections, and most of the time was devoted to economic issues, reports the Patria news agency.

Radončić expressed satisfaction that the economy is a priority for both SDA and SBB.

-Izetbegović and I have the same stance. There is no division of Mostar, and the most important thing is that every solution is a Mostar solution, said Radončić, adding that the proposal of SDA and SBB agreed upon today is the optimal option around which everyone can agree.

SDA, as Izetbegović announced, will make decisions regarding a joint campaign with SBB in the local elections at the session of the Presidency of this party on Wednesday. He also said that Radončić rightly insists on the accelerated construction of infrastructure, which should begin as soon as possible.

When it comes to Mostar, Izetbegović expressed confidence that the proposal of SDA and SBB will receive support in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.

-I believe that this proposal will receive support from the Serbs, and I hope from the Croats as well. It would be good if we all agree on this model, perhaps with minor changes. The most important thing is that SDA and SBB are now together in this, said Izetbegović.
