Izetbegović: Budget must be adopted or let the OHR react

(Patria) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegović said today that the General Elections must take place and that the money must be secured.

"The Election Law will not be adopted for now, of course, but the budget must be adopted. I think the budget will be adopted, that we will have a budget and regular elections. If this legal and constitutional obligation is evaded, then the OHR will have to react and impose either the budget or find funds for the elections through some decision, because there must be elections", said Izetbegović.

The Central Election Commission will announce the General Elections in BiH for the first Sunday in October tomorrow, May 4th. The legal deadline for securing financial resources is 15 days from the date of the election announcement.
