(Patria) - SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović claims that the Annual National Programme (ANP) is not a condition for the formation of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because it represents, as he said, the rule of law and respect for the constitutional and legal system in BiH. He added that if Serbs and the Republika Srpska entity do not want NATO, then we will not go to NATO either.
In an interview with RTRS, Izetbegović once again emphasized that the ANP must be sent to Brussels because it represents the implementation of previously adopted decisions.
"Previously adopted laws and decisions must be respected, and I signed that with (HDZ leader Dragan) Čović and (SNSD leader Milorad) Dodik on August 5. As far as we are concerned, it can be a minimal aspect, a reduced ANP where the emphasis can be entirely on the civilian part, and we can coordinate the pace with Serbia and, ultimately, accept what is crucially important for the Serbs, that there is no NATO membership without a new consensus and agreement, but the laws of this country must be respected," Izetbegović stated.
