(Patria) - The CDU/CSU Christian Democrat coalition won 28.5 percent of the vote in the snap parliamentary elections in Germany held today, according to initial projections.
This was announced by ZDF, the hitherto reliable German public broadcaster.
The same source reports that the Social Democrats (SPD) received 16.5 percent of the vote.
The Greens have 12 percent.
The neo-Nazi Alternative for Germany received 20 percent of the vote!
