IC BiH Condemns Violence in Palestine: Terrorizing an Entire People is Unacceptable!

The Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina strongly condemns the escalation of violence with fatalities in the Palestinian territories, it was announced today from the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Community's Riyaset in Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

- Killing people and violence, resorting to mass attacks and destruction is not a method that should be used in international relations and disputes, and it cannot contribute to establishing peace and trust. Perpetrators of all crimes must be identified and adequately sanctioned; however, the use of excessive force by Israeli forces or the terrorizing of an entire people due to the crimes of an individual or several individuals is not and cannot be acceptable. These acts are given special weight by the fact that innocent people are being disturbed during the month of Ramadan and prevented from performing their religious duties - say the Riyaset of IC BiH.

Everyone must learn lessons, as they state, from historical lessons that clearly show that acts of violence and unjust solutions further worsen the situation in the Palestinian territories and move away from peaceful solutions.

These historical lessons necessitate great attention and responsibility in conducting political processes in the Middle East.

- Citizens of Palestine and Israel have the right to live in peace and security in which the sounds of weapons will be replaced by words of mutual understanding and cooperation in order to pave a firm path towards establishing just relations and mutually acceptable solutions in the Holy Land of Muslims, Christians, and Jews - states the announcement from the Public Relations Office of the Riyaset, reports NAP.
