Envoy of Reis Kavazović Visits the Wounded in New Zealand

(Patria) - Mufti of the Islamic Community of Bosniaks in Australia Jasmin ef. Bekrić on Sunday visited the wounded in the attacks in Christchurch, New Zealand, announced the Rijaset of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, NAP reports.

Bekrić visited the Al Noor Mosque and met with the imam of the Linwood Mosque. Also, a meeting with Bosniaks living in the capital of this country is planned.

Mufti Bekrić is in New Zealand on behalf of the Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic Community Husein ef. Kavazović, who tasked him with visiting the victims of the terrorist attack on behalf of all Bosniaks and members of the Islamic Community from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora, expressing condolences to the families, and assessing ways in which the Islamic Community can assist the victims.

Mufti of the Islamic Community of Bosniaks in Australia Jasmin ef. Bekrić also met in Christchurch with a high delegation from the Republic of Turkey, Vice President Fuat Oktay and Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
