(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted three BiH citizens under the Readmission Agreement with the Federal Republic of Germany, who were returned and accepted by competent agencies in BiH yesterday.
"Further proceedings regarding the suspicions for which they were returned from Germany are within the jurisdiction of security and judicial institutions in BiH," the BiH Ministry of Security announced.
Security forces of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia deported three citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to alleged links to terrorism. They were returned from Düsseldorf airport on Wednesday, confirmed the German Ministry for Children, Family, Refugees and Integration.
According to the ministry's statement, the three citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina were planning an attack on behalf of the terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
"The fight against extremists will continue in the future," said Minister Joachim Stamp, commenting on the deportation of the three BiH citizens.
