Elektroprivreda claims there will be no electricity price increase

Elektroprivreda BiH has not submitted a request to the Regulatory Commission for Energy in FBiH (FERK) for an increase in electricity prices for the household category, the company announced.

- Despite the difficult conditions under which it operates, which are also faced by electricity companies in the region and Europe due to the very unfavorable hydrological situation, and despite the fact that the price for households is 50% lower than the market price, and being aware of the social and economic circumstances in which citizens live, Elektroprivreda BiH has not made any concrete business decision that would involve approaching FERK with a request to change the price of public electricity supply services, nor is the making of such or similar decisions likely.

The unfavorable weather conditions, which have negatively affected the operations of Elektroprivreda BiH since the end of last year, have not affected the fulfillment of the company's obligations as a public enterprise.

The supply of electricity to customers is stable, despite the aggravating circumstances, it was announced from Elektroprivreda.
