(Patria) - The car of the missing residents of Stolac was pulled from the Bregava river by a crane in the morning hours.
The body of one of the two young men was found, while the search for the other is ongoing. This was confirmed for hercegovina.info by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Ljudevit Marić. The search for the unfortunate young men has been ongoing since the night before last, when their signal was lost.
The search resumed early this morning, after weather conditions stabilized and the water level of the Bregava dropped. The town on the Bregava has never experienced such a tragedy.
The victims are two young men, aged 18 and 20. It is certain that they drove into the Bregava while turning towards Stolac and Vidovo polje, where they lived. An investigation was conducted at the scene yesterday, led by duty prosecutor Kemal Maksumić, during which it was determined that the vehicle had veered off the road on its own.
Last night, in the early evening hours, another team of divers from Mostar arrived at the scene, and the vehicle was found, confirmed, secured, and tied in the late evening hours, after which the extraction began this morning.
