SARAJevo, (Patria) - "The BiH budget, according to the Constitution, has no instruments to support the economy and therefore there can be no redistribution within it, but it must be reduced and the surplus that is freed up should be transferred to the entities that are responsible for supporting the economy," said former BiH Presidency member Mladen Ivanić in an interview for the portal Srpskainfo.
"This year's BiH budget must only cover salary payments and the most necessary costs of running institutions, and all investments or other costs above the minimum must be completely eliminated," Ivanić added.
This is almost the same pattern of behavior as the current BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik, who sees BiH institutions only as a financial branch of the entity, while claiming that the state does not exist.
It is difficult to define whether Ivanić got carried away or if something else is at play.
However, unlike Dodik, Ivanić claims that "if there is any good thing in BiH, it is a stable currency."
"Just imagine what would happen in BiH in these conditions if high inflation appeared. That is why I am against violating the rules of the currency board," Ivanić said in an interview for Srpskainfo.
