
A BiH delegation, led by the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Mladen Ivanić, has traveled on an official visit to Israel and Palestine, it was announced from the office of Chairman Ivanić, writes NAP.
In addition to Ivanić, the delegation also includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak and the advisor to the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency Elvir Čamdžić.
During the visit to Israel, the BiH delegation will meet with the President of Israel Reuven Rivlin, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Speaker of the Israeli Parliament Knesset Yuli Edelstein, and the Minister of Defense Avigdor Lieberman.
In Jerusalem, Ivanić will also meet with the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilus III. The program includes a meeting of the BiH delegation with representatives of the World Jewish Congress, a visit to the "Yad Vashem" Memorial Center, a wreath-laying ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, a visit to Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, and planting an olive tree in the Grove of Nations.
During their stay in Palestine, the BiH delegation will meet with the President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas and the Negotiations Affairs Department. The visit also includes a meeting with Palestinian religious officials and laying a wreath at the Mausoleum of Yasser Arafat, writes Patria.
