Ivancov First to Leave Session: Russia Against Joint PIC Text on RS Referendum

The Peace Implementation Council session in BiH has concluded, during which ambassadors discussed the issue of holding a referendum on January 9th as RS Day, writes the Patria News Agency.

Russia has expressed its dissenting opinion on the text of the joint statement, as confirmed to journalists by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH, Petar Ivancov, who was the first to leave the OHR building. 

He stated that he believes the Constitutional Court should be more attentive to the Law and the current situation in BiH, and that it will not interfere with the decisions of the Constitutional Court.

Ivancov did not wish to comment on the text of the conclusions, emphasizing that he had not heard anything about the use of the Bonn Powers.
