Ivan Pernar sentenced to two months in prison

Croatian Member of Parliament Ivan Pernar announced that he has received a prison sentence, reports the Patria News Agency.

The controversial Ivan Pernar announced this to the public via his Facebook profile.

- Dear friends, I have received a 2-month suspended prison sentence for one year, the process is politically motivated and fabricated, I reject the indictment, the verdict, and the false witnesses. I have been declared guilty without being given the opportunity to present my defense.

Lavrentiy Beria conducted fairer trials than our judiciary. Next week I will explain everything that is going on, now we are starting the fight against the criminal government tenfold - Pernar stated. 

Ivan Pernar has become known in Croatia, and beyond, for his public appearances and fights against evictions, a fierce critic of the situation in the EU, American policy, and he has also demonstratively left TV shows.
