True Catholics and Croats celebrate Our Lady, not attack mosques

HDZ 1990 condemned the attack on a mosque that occurred on Saturday in the village of Omerovići near Tomislavgrad, the party announced, as reported by the Patria news agency.

The Sarajevo organization of HDZ 1990 condemned this act of vandalism and warned that such behavior and actions deepen inter-ethnic tensions and raise tensions. The result of such primitive and thoughtless behavior, using examples from experience, often serves as a pretext for attacks on Croats and Catholic religious facilities in areas where Croats are a minority.

Therefore, HDZ 1990 Vrhbosna appeals for raising awareness of a responsible and protective attitude towards all people living in areas with a Croatian majority population who are not Croats. Only with such an approach can we protect those Croats who live in areas where the majority population is not of Croatian nationality.

Such an approach shows love for one's country and preserves Croatian identity, into which, throughout history, the value of love for one's own and respect for others has been woven, the statement said, among other things.
