Muhamed Švrakić and his daughter attacked in front of Hotel Maršal

An incident occurred today in front of the Hotel Maršal on Bjelašnica, where an employee of the hotel attacked a visitor who was with several children on the playground. As he himself confirmed in a Facebook post, Muhamed Švrakić, president of the Green Berets Association, was attacked, writes Patria.

- It is true that today around 12 PM I was attacked by the bodyguard (husband of the director, ed.) of the hotel director, as he introduced himself, just because of the children playing on the field. He came to insult and chase away the children, even though I said I would pay for the time slot, but the problem arose when I asked if the hotel, which has a debt of 20 million, cared about preventing children aged 2, 3, and 6 from playing - Švrakić wrote.

Švrakić claims that insults and vulgar behavior followed from the bodyguard, who hit him in the nose and caused him injuries. Švrakić also ended up in a healthcare facility to have his injuries treated, and the attacker also assaulted his daughter.

Unofficially, Švrakić writes that the attacker is a man with multiple reports for violent behavior, as he has attacked hotel staff and people multiple times since Amra Kaljić was appointed director.

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton (MUP KS) arrived at the scene, and criminal charges for disturbing public order and peace were filed against two individuals.
