Questioned at the KS Prosecutor's Office: Restraining measures also requested for the owner of restaurant Una

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Bakir Hadžić, the owner of the Sarajevo restaurant Una, was questioned at the KS Prosecutor's Office as one of the suspects for tax evasion in the "Kasa" case, in which several other well-known Sarajevo restaurateurs are also suspected. After the questioning, the KS Prosecutor's Office proposed restraining measures identical to those for five other suspect restaurateurs who admitted to tax evasion. 

The restraining measures include a ban on managing business operations, meeting with suspects and witnesses, and a ban on approaching the premises.

Restraining measures were previously imposed on Nedžad Rašidagić, owner of Metropolis, Edin Vreta, owner of the restaurant Kibe Mahala, Željko Ljubas, owner of Luka, Nejra Ibrović, owner of Montana, and Šaćir Čedić, owner of Vatra. One-month detention was ordered for Ines Juretić and Oleg Kraublat, who were responsible persons of the company "Inspirit", authorized for servicing fiscal cash registers, suspected of creating and selling special software to Sarajevo restaurateurs, such as "Star cafe" later renamed "Inspirit Gastro" and "Gandalf", which enabled restaurateurs to evade taxes.

It is still unknown how much tax was evaded nor how long the restaurateurs avoided paying taxes to the state. Some of the premises were sealed by the FBiH Tax Administration until proper fiscal cash registers were installed and workers were registered.
