(Patria) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that Iran and the United States plan to hold a fourth round of indirect talks on the Asian country's nuclear program in Oman on May 11, TASS reported.
"Friends from Oman asked us for Sunday and we expressed our consent," Araghchi said on Telegram.
According to him, the exact time and place of the talks will be determined by the host country.
The Tasnim news agency had previously reported that Tehran had agreed to hold the next round of talks in Oman on May 11.
With Oman's mediation, the talks began on April 12 in Oman's capital. The second was held on April 19 in Rome, and the third on April 26 again in Oman. The Iranian delegation is led by Araghchi, while the US team is led by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.
