Iranian Foreign Minister Calls US Campaign 'Operation Epic Mistake'

(Patria) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused the United States of destabilizing the oil market with its attacks.

In a social media post, Araghchi called the US campaign "Operation Epic Mistake," alluding to the US operation name "Epic Fury."

9 days into Operation Epic Mistake, oil prices have doubled while all commodities are skyrocketing. We know the U.S. is plotting against our oil and nuclear sites in hopes of containing huge inflationary shock. Iran is fully prepared.

Along with an attached table of global oil prices, Araghchi wrote on platform X:

"We know the U.S. is plotting against our oil and nuclear sites in hopes of containing huge inflationary shock. Iran is fully prepared. And we, too, have many surprises in store."

In a separate post, he stated that Iran "does not wish to harm ordinary Americans."
