Iranian President: Current cessation of aggression is the only path to peace

(Patria) - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the "immediate cessation of American and Israeli aggression, with guarantees that it will not be repeated," is the only way to end the current war and prevent a wider regional catastrophe.

Pezeshkian conveyed this on Saturday in a phone call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to a statement from the Iranian embassy in India, he emphasized that any solution must include firm guarantees to prevent future military attacks on Iran.

During the conversation, he also called on the BRICS bloc of major emerging economies to play an independent role in stopping the aggression against Iran. He also reiterated Iran's position that the United States is responsible for the military attack on a primary school in Iran, in which an estimated 168 schoolchildren were killed.
