Iranian minister confirmed attacks on Israel until 4 AM

(Patria) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated early Tuesday morning that there is no “agreement” on a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, but that his country will not continue attacks if Israel “stops the aggression”.

“At this stage, there is no agreement” on a ceasefire with Israel, he stated in a message posted on X shortly after United States President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between the two countries.

But “if the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people by 4:00 AM Tehran time at the latest, we have no intention of continuing our response after that,” he said.

While an Iranian official had previously confirmed that Tehran had agreed to a ceasefire, the Iranian Foreign Minister said there would be no cessation of hostilities until Israel stops its attacks.

“The final decision on the cessation of our military operations will be made later,” Araghchi added in the post on X.

He posted a new status around 4 AM:

"The military operations of our powerful Armed Forces, aimed at punishing Israel for its aggression, continued until the last moment, at 4 AM.

Together with all Iranians, I thank our brave Armed Forces who remain ready to defend our dear country to the last drop of blood and who have responded to every enemy attack until the last moment," stated Aragchi.
