Iranian Ambassador to UN Security Council: The world has seen the true face of American policy, Iran has the right to defend itself from aggression

(Patria) - The United Nations Security Council is holding an extraordinary session to discuss American attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, and among those who addressed it was the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Amir-Saeid Iravani.

He drew attention to and condemned the American attack on Iranian nuclear facilities.

"We appreciate all members who chose to stand on the right side of history. As I address the council for the third time since Israel's brutal attack, I must express concern on behalf of our nation. Once again, Netanyahu has managed to hijack America and drag it into war."

He emphasized that the world has once again seen the true face of American policy and its leaders who serve as an extended arm of the "dirty Netanyahu regime" in the Middle East.

"Iran reserves the right to defend itself from American aggression, and the time, place, and scope of Iran's response will be decided with our armed forces. Iran has faced greater and more determined enemies in the past, and it will do so in this case as well," emphasized Amir-Saeid Iravani.

He pointed out that the war of Israel and the United States of America is "hollow at its core" and that it does not produce any results in reality.

"History will not forget these tragic days, which will remember how one member of the United Nations was attacked by another, without any valid reason."

He emphasized that the world will remember the hypocrisy of the United States of America, which is the only permanent member of the UN Security Council that has used nuclear weapons twice and killed several million innocent people. He called on the US to withdraw and cease the war against Iran, which is based on claims and lies.

Israel attacked Iran on June 13, and now they have dragged America into the conflict.

World powers China, Russia, and Pakistan condemned the US attack on Iran and called for talks.
