(Patria) - Iran warned on Saturday that "all fronts of the Resistance," a group of Iran and its regional allies, would confront Israel if it attacked Lebanon, AFP reported.
The comment by Iran's mission in New York comes amid fears of a wider regional war involving Israel and the Iran-backed Lebanese movement Hezbollah. The two sides have been engaged in near-daily exchanges of fire since the war in Gaza began on October 7.
The Israeli military had previously announced that plans for an offensive in Lebanon had been "approved and confirmed".
In a post on the social media platform X, Iran's mission said it "considers the Zionist regime's propaganda about its intention to attack Lebanon as psychological warfare".
But, "if it embarks on a full-scale military aggression, a devastating war will follow. All options, including the full participation of all fronts of the Resistance, are on the table," they added.
