
(Patria) - Iran reserves the right to respond to Israel's "criminal aggression," Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in a letter to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, requesting an urgent Security Council meeting, Iran's Foreign Ministry announced today.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi sent a letter to the UN chief and the Council president demanding an urgent Security Council meeting to take a firm stance in condemning Israeli aggression, the ministry's statement said.
He said that "most of the launched missiles were intercepted by Iran's defense system," but the attack caused damage in certain areas, as well as the deaths of four soldiers whose photos he posted on Twitter.
