
(Patria) - Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced last night that Iran has granted passage through the Strait of Hormuz to 20 ships under the Pakistani flag.
In a post on platform X, Dar wrote that Iran will allow two Pakistani ships to pass through this key waterway each day.
"This positive announcement represents an important step towards peace and will strengthen our joint efforts in that direction," Dar added.
I am pleased to share a great news that the Government of Iran has agreed to allow 20 more ships under the Pakistani flag to pass through the Strait of Hormuz; two ships will cross the Strait daily.

In previous weeks, Iran had already allowed passage to individual ships linked to Pakistan, as Islamabad helps mediate between Washington and Tehran.
