Iran launched missiles towards Israel

(Patria) - The Israeli army (IDF) announced on social media that missiles were fired from Iran at Israel. Sirens sounded across the country.

The IDF called on Israelis to remain vigilant and precisely follow the instructions of the civil defense command.

A senior White House official stated earlier this afternoon that the US believes Iran is preparing to "launch an imminent ballistic attack on Israel".

"There are indications that Iran is preparing an imminent ballistic attack on Israel. We are actively supporting defensive preparations to protect Israel from this attack.

A direct military attack by Iran on Israel will have serious consequences for Iran," the full statement, reported by CNN and other world media, said.
