Iran presents 10-point plan to end war: Seeks sanctions relief and security in Hormuz

(Patria) - The Iranian news agency Fars, which is close to the authorities, has published details of a 10-point proposed ceasefire plan.

The plan is for these points to form the basis for negotiations with the United States to be held in Islamabad.

The content of the 10 points includes:

- A guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again

- A permanent end to the war, not just a temporary ceasefire

- Suspension of Israeli attacks in Lebanon

- Lifting of all US sanctions against Iran

- Cessation of all regional conflicts directed against Iranian allies

- Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for maritime traffic

- Imposing a $2 million tax per ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz

- Iran will share tax revenues with Oman

- Iran will establish rules for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz

- Iran will use revenues from the Strait of Hormuz for reconstruction, rather than reparations

According to Iranian media, Iran will accept the end of the war only when the details are finalized in accordance with the 10-point peace plan that was allegedly submitted to the White House through Pakistani intermediaries.
