Inspection and police empty restaurant in Vogošća, what about shopping malls and transport

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Last night, Sarajevo Canton police, as part of intensified control activities of catering facilities in relation to current epidemiological measures, provided assistance to competent inspection authorities, and during the inspection of the facility "Bistra voda" in the municipality of Vogošća, 238 people were found.

On that occasion, inspectors from the competent inspection authorities imposed fines totaling 5,800.00 KM on the owner of the facility, and closed the mentioned catering facility due to established irregularities.

All present guests were removed from the facility by 11:00 PM, after which it was sealed by the competent inspection. Police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton will continue activities in cooperation with competent inspection authorities in the coming period to control compliance with the measures of competent authorities in the Sarajevo Canton.

Although it is commendable that the inspection is on the ground, the question arises what about the controls of catering facilities within shopping malls. In Sarajevo alone, in SCC and Bingo City Center, cafes and restaurants are full of guests every day, more than 30 people. Likewise, it is a big question where the inspection is in public city transport where the prescribed measures on the allowed number of passengers are not respected.
