Indirect Taxes: 2 Billion and 690 Million KM Collected in First Five Months

The Indirect Taxation Authority collected 2 billion and 690 million KM in the first five months of 2017. This is  145 million KM or 5.69% more compared to the same period in 2016 when it was 2 billion and 545 million KM.

In May 2017, 577 million KM of indirect taxes were collected, which is 58 million KM more compared to May 2016.

After VAT refunds to taxpayers, which amounted to 504 million KM in the first five months of 2017, net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the period January-May 2017, namely the state, entities, and Brčko District, amounted to 2 billion and 185 million KM, and are 68 million KM higher compared to the revenues received by beneficiaries from the Single Account in the same period of 2016.

For the financing of state institutions in the period January-May 2017, an amount of 306 million KM was distributed, 1 billion and 190 million KM was distributed to the Federation of BiH, 610 million KM was distributed to Republika Srpska, and 66 million KM was distributed to Brčko District.

Based on the special toll for highway construction (0.10 KM) in the period January-May 2017, the Federation of BiH received an additional 29.5 million KM, Republika Srpska 19.5 million KM, and Brčko District BiH 1 million KM. The difference represents a reserve in a special toll account of 0.10 KM.
