Incident in Tuzla: Student attacked in elementary schoolyard, one person arrested

(Patria) - A student of the "Slavinovići" Elementary School (OŠ) in Tuzla was attacked in the schoolyard before the start of classes today.

This information was confirmed by the school principal Valid Jaganjac, stating that the attacker was the parent of another student. The police were informed about the incident.

"Upon receiving the report of the incident, police officers of the Tuzla Police Department took all necessary measures and actions to determine the circumstances related to it.

The cantonal prosecutor was informed about the incident, by whose order the person H.Ć. from Tuzla was deprived of liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of 'Violent Behavior' against a minor student of the mentioned school.

Criminal processing of the person H.Ć. is underway, after which they will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings," stated the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tuzla Canton Police Administration.

"Slavinovići" Elementary School condemned this attack. In the past period, no violence against the attacker's son was reported to the school, and employees and students are disturbed after the attack.
