
(Patria) - In the Nevesinje village of Zovi Do, located on the regional road towards Berkovići, an incident broke out today when it was reported that one or more migrants had barricaded themselves in a holiday home.
According to local residents, gunfire was also heard from the house, and the Nevesinje police arrived at the scene.
According to unofficial information, special forces from Trebinje were subsequently dispatched to that Nevesinje village.
The BN Television portal reports that the police entered the house and arrested five migrants.
A search of the remaining terrain is underway, and the migrants allegedly first robbed one house and then took shelter in another.
Ambulances were also dispatched to the village of Zovi Do, and according to information from that town, all roads are under some form of blockade.
The Trebinje Police Administration confirmed that members of the Nevesinje Police Station and the Gendarmerie Unit of the Trebinje Police Administration in the locality of Zovi Do, in the Nevesinje area, "blocked the wider location and the building where an unknown person who is firing a firearm is located."
"The person does not speak or understand Serbian, and does not want to communicate in English with police officers," the Trebinje Police Administration stated.
They added that there are no civilians near this location and that no one has been injured.
