(Patria) - Mostar police have identified one of the three attackers who yesterday in Mostar's Zrinjevac Park attacked a man from Spain and his son because the boy was wearing a jersey of the BiH national team.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of HNK announced today that M.E.M.G. (1975) from Spain reported to the Mostar Police Department yesterday at 4:20 PM that he and his minor son, who was wearing a Bosnia and Herzegovina jersey, were attacked by three unknown young individuals in black t-shirts and shorts while they were walking in Mostar's Zrinjevac Park.
One of the attackers was also walking a dog, and they addressed the Spaniards in English, saying that the boy could not wear the Bosnia and Herzegovina jersey, after which they tried to take it off him.
The attacked Spaniard stood up to protect his son, and the mentioned individuals physically attacked him and fled.
Patrols on the ground were immediately notified, and the person with the dog was found very quickly. According to the police report, this is M.G. (2002) from Mostar.
