Incident at children's tournament in Ilidža: One person from Belgrade stabbed, sustained minor injuries

(Patria) - An incident occurred tonight at an international children's tournament in Ilidža, in which one of the parents was stabbed.

According to nova.rs, local hooligans attacked parents of minor boys from Serbia with tear gas, flares, and knives.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton confirmed that one person was injured in front of the Hills hotel around 5:30 PM, most likely with a sharp object. The injured person was sent for medical assistance and was found to have sustained minor bodily injuries. The police state that measures and actions are being taken to clarify this event.

According to organizer Almir Prguda, a fight broke out between parents at the moment when two teams from Serbia were playing in the tournament.

Prguda says the tournament is continuing and that 40 teams are participating.
